How to reach Canovella?
If
you arrive from Venice by car you can take the highway A4 towards Trieste. After
the exit “Airport” and “Monfalcone”, you follow the directions to "Monfalcone
Est" or "Lisert". Enter the toll road and head towards Trieste.
Take the exit "Sistiana" and "Trieste Costiera". In a few
minutes you reach the national road SS 14, that runs parallel to the coast:
drive towards Trieste city, with the Gulf of Trieste on your right hand. At km
sign 139.2 (where it reads “Aurisina Mare”) turn to the right.

At
this point you drive down towards the seaside. After a sharp bend in the road
to the left
drive
on for 200 meters. The road gets quite narrow now. Drive on until you see an
orange gate and... ring our bell!
